This classic levitation continues to be popular with audiences. The assistant lays down on a low couch and is covered with a cloth. She slowly begins to levitate up off the couch and into the air. The couch is removed to show no connection. The assistant floats well over the magician's head. Finally, after the assistant has floated up and down, the magician approaches the floating assistant and suddenly removes the cloth covering her. Just as the cloth is pulled off, the assistant vanishes visibly, before the eyes of the audience with nowhere for her to be. This dramatic and visible vanish is a very strong climax to an excellent levitation.
